NorcalDurango<-----It could be your IAC. Clean it and reinstall.
I am wondering if the problems that you guys are having is a bad MAP sensor.

my suggestion... go to www.hemitruckclub.com & download the service manual found on the left side of the page for an '03 or '04 ram. in there is the section for the 4.7 motor which is the same as what you have. find the TB & idle control valve and go from there. I'll bet that once you find it, if you put a blow dryer or heat gun prior to starting it when it's cold (heat it up) it wont stall. if that is the case, you found your problem.

Bad TPS sensor should malfunction at all temps. I would do basic tune up as base line, wires plugs, all filters etc. Clean throttle blades make sure they are closing all the way. Inspect linkage and check for vacuum leaks around manifold and hoses. Are you getting a check engine light? I would look at MAP sensor first. Shop around for price. I changed a TPS couple weeks ago that was 79 bucks at Pep Boys and 29 at Autozone. GO figure? Good Luck.

I finally fixed it.It turned out to be the IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) MOTOR. The Mopar part number is 53030840. It is extremely easy to change and retails anywhere from $52.95 to $100.00 depending on where you buy it.
