Default CTM stuff

Figured I would let folks in on my wifes 01 Durango. Had the usual electrical ghosts lights up down, horn beep, wipers and locks lock and unlock, reading the froums I went for the Central Timer Module 162.50 jobber cost from dealer 222.00 retail plus tax of course. Removed left kick panel disconected battery and replaced unit in my driveway. Started right up no prob. Mechanic told me no real reson to take it to the dealer. She does have after market door remote for remote start they still work fine also. Just my experience. Thanks for all the help.

Default RE: CTM stuff

Factory door locks and alarm would have required the dealer to reprogram the CTM/FOBs with the DRB. You got lucky with the aftermarket stuff. Congrats! Buy a lotto ticket too Anything you can do to keep away from the dealer is a good thing IMHO.
