your next mod should be the intake mod... cut the runners down 1.5" and slap a 52mm TB on it and it'll scream!

What does it mean to cut down a runner 1.5inch? I'm not familiar with what a runner is

yes I did... if you check over in the 2nd gen forum there are a few others who have done it as well... one guy VWandDodge (gary) just got his truck back on the road with a rebuilt motor and did the mod in the process. If I ever have another magnum motor (very likely I will as i'm considering a jeep grand cherokee project) it'll be on the list of mods to do.

If you look at the intake manifold you will see the runners bulging from the main body slightly... if you flip the manifold over you can see the runners if you take off the plenum plate.

Deerang your motor is the 4.7 and I think has a plastic intake on it. not 100% sure though.

oh yeah, forgot to mention... if you (anyone who has a 5.2/5.9 motor) still have a 195 deg t-stat, yank it and put in a 180 deg t-stat. the stock heads suck and are prone to cracking between the valve seats. I believe that part of it is cause by too much heat in the heads, no data to back it up though. these motors run better @ 180 deg anyway.
