Squeaking Front End???

Default Squeaking Front End???

Ive got a 2001 Durango. IDK what the hell it is but there is a squeaking or chirping that comes out of the front end when i go over large bumps? Anyone have simmilar problems or a possible culprit/solution??

It's your bushings. Get some polyurethane replacements and you'll be good to go.

mike does energy suspension make a kit for the darango? im not sure but i have a feeling ill be helping put these in [8D] also which ones you think are bad? in the arms or just replace them all?

I had this exact problem and my sway bar bushings were bad. Had to replace them, about $30 for all of them at my local shop.

Yup sways are usually the worst but when I get around to doing mine I'm gonna hit all of them.

Very Helpful guys! Thanks alot... One more quick question. How long should/copuld i let these go for? Is it a big no no to wait untill i have time free or should i free some time to do it?

Sway bar bushings you can let go. If it's your control arm bushings then that’s a different issue. You can get a kit from Energy Suspension. The only problem is that you have to burn out the old ones with a torch and leave the medal sleeves so the new bushings can be installed. The dealer says that the upper control arm bushings and pressed in so you will have to buy a whole new unit. But you can just simply burn them out and use the medal sleeves. It is a hard kit to find but you can get it. Have fun with them![:@]
