Default Stock Speakers

Hi, the infinity system speakers on my 2000 Durango are completely ruined and we're looking to replace them. I was told that the stock speakers EACH come with their own amp but I have been unable to find any proof supporting this. Can anybody clear this up for me? Is there just a single amp and can I just buy replacement fitting speakers from somewhere like Crutchfield? or do I need to find speakers that are self powered and come with their own amp. Thanks.

I just (as of today) installed a couple of sets of the Infinity Kappa 63.7s. Got them off eBay for around $90 each set including shipping. Crutchfield had them for $199 a pair!!!! I'd probably avoid them from Crutchfield unless you have a lot of extra money you want to waste. I bought them because of the feedback here. They are a snap to install. It took maybe 2 hours total for all 4. Yeah the bass is a little lacking, but all in all it sounds 1000% better than my 4 blown speakers....
