cool deal, i dont know if i really want to do a tb, just because this is the first car ive bought so my payments are a little high, im guessing theyre fairly expensive. i think im atleast getting one of the real cheap cold air kits off ebay, and ill probably make a heat shield for it.

as far as exhaust, what kind of muffler do yall suggest?

Well look at the TB at www.thefastman.com if you do a cheapo intake just pick up a k&n cone for like $40 as far as the muffler a lot of people like the flowmater super 40 but I have heard tere is a lot of interior resonance with that (I personally wouldn't mind but I wouldn't be able to stand the resonance + my wife whining about it together ). I have heard that borla is a lot better for interior noise and still getting good sound out of it. Performance with both is probably pretty close so it's all preference.

the super 40 resonates a lot. between 1700 and 2500 rpm it is a constant noise, which is ocnventiently the approx rpm when driving 70-130km/h (45-75mph i think)

I don't mind it, in fact I love it,so do most of my buddies, but its the girls who all say "What's that noise? or why is your truck so loud?"

I love a loud truck as well. When I was looking for new tires I was told that my BFG's would have some road noise and my response was "It's to be expected and I like it". What gears do you have Deerang? 3.93's? Mine is at 2100 rpm's at 75 mph with 3.55's.

3.55 i believe. i have the 4.7 so im pretty sure its 3.55.

I'm pretty sure my engine revs a lil higher than 2100 at 75 mph. I also miscalculated.....i usually hold about 80-85mph on the highway, and I'm sure im at around 24-2500 rpm

I didn't notice you have the 4.7so the rev's are probably different than the 5.2 and 5.9.
