3rd row seat install?
Mean Green, I stand corrected, I always heard it can't be done, but it can.
Aguy did it and another guy talked to the people at the Durango assembly plant, The guy that did it said it cost him over a 1000 to get all the stuff from a junk yard. He also needed the 2nd row seats as they fold forward. I foundinformation inside of the Dodge talk forum.

Mean Green, the belts are adjustable. If you can get access to the seat belt assembly where the belt coils up, there should be a counterweight that swings to lockup the belts should there be a sudden stop of motion. I did not check the 3rd row seats but I did check my belts and they work and lockup when I try to do a hard stop. My driver belt always lock up way too easily regardless if the Durango is in motion or not. The dealer readjusted the counterweight and now it is fine and only locks up when there is a sudden stop of motion.
Have done this myself, on my 99. Goteverything I neededat a local auto wrecker for 200 bucks, removing them myself.
Once you remove the screws holding the package tray ( as useful as its not!!!), you will need to remove the hinge screws for the small trunk lid, to remove the tray completely.
You will also need the 2nd row seats, for the fold up entry, and the small trunklid as well.
Also grab the trim pieces and seatbealts from the rear side window pillars.
All the holes where there, just have to find them. The carpet was not cut for the locations needed, but the factory holes are there, under the carpet, and covered with butyl sealant. You will have 2 holes exposed where the old 2nd row seat was, when you are done, but I just used the carpet I cut for the new holes, and glued it down.
If you are removing it from the wreck, keep all the bolts and screws you remove!!!
The only complaint I here, is that since mine wasn't factory installed, I dont have the rear heat/ac, and passangers in the 3rd row, get very little of the a/c.
I hope this helps, as I see the original post is 3 months old now.

I think the 2nd row seating is the same regardless. You would just scrap the box right behind the 2nd row currently in yours because that is the foot well for the 3rd row, and install the 3rd row seats and belts.
