Default Durango 7 pin connector factory Wiring of the hitch??? UPDATE

Hello fellow dodge fans,

Can any one please tell me or give me a link on how to wire my new OEM hitch I got from the junk yard for my 03 durango? I have the 7 pin OEM connector and I do have the plug I cut off the wire harness at the junkyard, I'm am just unsure where to splice in to the factory wires OR do I even have to, maybe theres a way to just get a splice connector and connect to a tail light, ALSO I HAVE ATTACHED THE PLUG IM TALKING ABOUT

Anyway any help will work for me

Thank you very much

I have heard that the wiring is ready to plug in on the drivers side and is tucked into the rear quarter panel but I would research more because I'm not sure about it. That's why I didn't post up when you asked originally...

Well I went to to the dealer and bought a Hitch wire harness Mopar Pt# 82204721 for $125.00 and brought it home and wired it myself, Was very easy, took 1.5 hours, I did have to run the harness to eachof theback tail lights and all the way up to the battery, Bottom line is, I am so glad I did it myself now after have completed it.

Price for full hitch/tow package
$50.00 for the class 3 hitch at the junk yard off of wrecked 01 durango
$125.00 for the wiring harness from the dealer

Total $175.00 for a tow package that would have costed me$450.00 installedat the dealer

Does that harness include the connection for a brake controller?

i'm curious about hooking up the brake controller in my '02 -- bought mine used with the tow package. until now i've only towed things with the 4pin wiring - but i also recently got a tandem cargo trailer with brakes and would like to be able to use them.
