Default Anyone have fog light problems?

I am having trouble with my fog lights, bothe bulbs are fine I am just not getting and power to them, and the wiring close to them is fine, I checked the relay and it is working too. Do the 99's have any issues with the switch? I have the kind of switch that is part of the headslight switch, not the type that is next to the headlight switch.

You may want to pull the battery cable and bulbs then try tweaking the posts up a little on the female end they mayhave lost theirflexibility.I did that when one light went out. An eyeglass repair kit screwdriver should fit in there.

If I remember correctly that is a genuine shelby right there so I would say 2wd.

Yes Mean mine is a 2wd, I am pretty sure that some of the very first ones were 4wd but later they moved to do 2wd because it is cheaper and light and pointless to have 4wd.

As for modifications this thing ahas a bunch and most were done aftermarcket for what appears to be no apparent reason. I am the second owner but the D only hase 23000 miles on it. A cylinder just went dead on me the other day so I will most likely be able to find out about most of the engine mods once I get it apart. As for suggestions on what to do performance wise to any D, you are asking the wrong person. Most of my knowlege with performance stuff is along the lines of Japanese 4cly turbos, the only knowlegde i have of american muscle is what i am learning with this beast. It was too good of a deal for me to turn down!

I fixed the fog lights, it was the switch!

The fog light switch was a poor design on the 99's! they must have realised this because they changed them in 00' If you take the switch apart you will see a small metal contact that looks like an exagerated S. this meatl contact is bonded to plastic. On mine it got got hot and melted the plastic and the S fell off. I reatache it using a small screw used for eyglasses and they have been working great ever since.

Why replace when you can fx right?
