ooo my bad. I was looking at his last post, and not the original.

ORIGINAL: Mean Green

As far as the viper fan upgrade that's all up to you. It will cost about $500 if you do the work yourself.

ChrisHackIT,
Yes I'm running cross drilled and slotted brakes. They are made by Stillen (now AP Brakes) http://www.brake-pros.com/systems.asp They are not cheap, The fronts have 6 piston calipers and 4 piston calipers. These brakes are big and you need to run a minimum of 18" wheels in the front.

As for the truck, the picture you see is 4 years old. The truck is totally redone now. I should be showingit off in the next month after it's completed. As for some of the mods, there are way to many to list but here are a few. It's running a 416 ci in R-3 small block, supercharged and nitrous injected Fastman motor. The engine has billet crank and rods, full roller cam, indy heads, custom fuel system with a 1500 cfm TBand 2 stand alone computers to keep everything happy. The truck is sitting on 20's, lowered, complete custom drive train from engine to rear, roll bar that's built into the head liner, floor shifer, lots of gauges, Cerullo seats and lots other stuff. The truck had been custom painted. I can show some pictures but not of the outside due to I want to finish the truck before showing of the paint job. The truck is fired up and running in the shop at the moment and we are about ready to put it on the dyno and put the tune on the motor. After that I should be ready to show pictures and HP numbers which is less than a month away.
here's a little pic of the inside looking in the back door

Heavy I have heard good and bad on the viper brake upgrade but I guess I have heard some of the worst now so thanks for that post.

Chris the TB off of a 5.2 or 5.9 is a good size for your 4.7 you don't need to do anything with it just bolt it on. You could sell your old TB on Ebay or something like that. CAI is Cold Air Intake and if you got a SC or turbo you wouldn't need that but you would want to do work on the internals first. We had a guy on here with a twin turbo setup and it looks like it would do great. Theres lots of low end torque in these magnums already and then where we start runinng out of breath above 4000 or so he's got his turbos working overtime.

Hey Mean Green,
The good and bad was mostly from the Dakota guys. Most of the Dakotas can get them to work after reworking them. I know a few guys running them and they like the brakes
But of the 2 Durango attempts I know of they have failed.Another guy bought one and chickened out then sent it back after news of the first failure. Since the guy was a good friend they took it back. But GMS support is all sales are final and they don't take returns. So the first 2 guys are out since they had to remove them for having problems and being unsafe

Heavy, where did you get the floor shifter? Recaros and floor shifter sound pretty good...

The cerullo seat are very nice, It's a B&M mega shifter. There is no real shifter kit made for the D. It's a matter of figuring it out. I just have to install my gauge face plate and work on putting the new steering wheel in. I've also have a fiberglass mold of the shifter with a cup holder in it. Not sure which one I'm going to run yet. I'll finish up the interior when the truck is put on the dyno and tuned this month.
