I like my way better. It is a much simpler changeover when you need it and I'm gonna be flushing my heater core soon so it would be the perfect time anyway.

You will have to flush your heater core whenever you reconnect the heater core to the system.

Yes. The coolant that is in your core will need to be flushed out and replaced.

Exactly. It doesn't take long and will prevent you from introducing stagnent coolant back into the system.
