Messed up tires
WTF?
So i get to looking at the wifes truck the other day, and 3 of her tires are all of a sudden worn down pretty good. except the driver side rear, which is still near perfect. checked all the pressures, and none were off by+or-3.
hopefully an allignment or something will help.
or just getting rid of goodyears
i am befuttled.
any one deal with this before? got any suggestions?

do you rotate often ? also is it alway in 4WD
stay away from goodyears they are junk IMO
I work at a tire shop and almost everytimeI balance a goodyear they are out of round or call for a massive amount of weight
I Reccommend the firestone destination line
or dayton timberline pretty much anytbridgestone/firestone product
the main thing is rotations about every 5,000 miles.

If the fronts are worn in funny places, like the edges, make sure you check the ball joints. My ball joints were bad on both sides and the outside tread of my tires wore down much quicker than the rest of the tread.
I just got Michelin X-RADIAL LT,245/70/16 so far very happy did research before I purchased. I would recommend Costco, Tires were $500 for the set of 4 but they threw in the nitrogen for free (ha-ha!!!)
Good luck, if you get the Michelins or any new tires, remember these helpful hints
1. Try to get filled with Nitrogen, COSTCO at Nitrogen is standard.
2. Replace as a set, prefeaably all four
3. I recommend a alignment immediately after picking up from Tire replacement, if you are lucky to get alignment and tires in the same place, suck it up, and with new tires, and new alignment you get the peace of mind of knowing where the wear patterns are,
4. Retorque after 25 Miles
5. Rotate every 5-6K miles... A good set of tires should last you a while.
If you are having suspension, ball joint issues, then get them taken care of first.
