Default 4.7 engine sludge

Is there anything out there that i can put in my engine oil to get rid of the sludge prior to an oil change. I heard of people putting kerosene in there??????

IF IF IF you really have a sludge problem, I'd be shocked.

More than likely you may have sludge on the oil cap and around the PVC valve. Common on 4.7L motors.

There is a TSB to put in a baffle that fixes that. Otherwise, the rest of the motor is probably fine.

If you have to use something to make you feel better, look into SeaFoam.
