4wheeling prep without susp.
I have a 99 slt, and I plan on having one set of 20's pr 22's for street use, but i will probably be going 4wheeling almost every weekend, so i will have a set of 31' tires. basically i want to keep stock suspension, but be able to somewhat keep up with my cousin's jeep. i was wondering what modifications would be best to do so, and protect my D. I was thinking maybe that rhino linings spray on bedliner underneath....if there is even anywhere i could do it? i dont know much about cars, still pretty new to everything and just want the best for it.
thanks,
garrett

Skidplates, tow points (at least one front and rear), and good rubber I love my tires they are great on and off road. The only thing to gripe about is they don't clean out too well wen running in mud but as long as your not going through a boggy nasty mess you'll be okay.
I picked up my hooks from a junkyard since I was looking for something a little more heavy duty than I could find online easily and got a couple heavy duty ones for $10 if I remember correctly. I attached them on a low point on the frame pretty far back the only other thing I could have done is gotten some metal blocks fabbed up to get them right at the front of the truck.

Research the skids I wouldn't know about where to get them. I got my hitch off of ebay and that is a great rear tow point. I would say ebay it or go to a junkyard and buy one. I got my hitch for 140 after shipping if I remember correctly. Just research everything before you buy to make sure you get quality. Oh and for the hitch just go straight to a class III. I's and II's aren't gonna be nealry as strong.
