Man are these tranny really this bad. My buddy at work told me when I bought my Durango a few months agothat the motor(318 5.2L) was solid and would last a long time. He also said the tranny was made out of Hershey's Milk Chocolate.

 

Yeah but I think I got a real piece of crap tranny from DC it went out at 35k miles kept giving me problems after the rebuild (sensors) and then finally started working the way it was supposed to only to have OD blow up twice at 45k miles when I moved from NY to NV. I found out the reason it gave me so many issues after the rebuild was because when you get a tranny rebuilt or replaced it's a good idea to replace the radiator as well in dodges. Oh well after the last rebuild it's not given me a single problem so it's fine. If it goes again though I WILL find a way to make a manual fit.
