Bosch plats haven't hurt my D. My truck runs like it's brand new. Seems like the plats do better the older they get from my experience. I do have a K&N Air Filter and I change my own oil every 3,000 miles. Around town I've been getting 15-16 MPG. I have a 4.7 2WD.

As I have seen from user's experience using Plat's. Only the 4.7 family owners do not have issues with plat's because of the newer modern ignition system. But plats won't work on the older style ignition 5.2/5.9 family engines.

+1. 4.7s are different... way different from 5.xs and the way they react to plats.
