Default Timing Chain

Hello all - This is my first time here, and I am looking for some help. I just got a 2000 Durango with the 4.7 and I am wondering if anybody knows the torque spec once I put the new chain on. Please help Thanks!!

Default RE: Timing Chain

the bolt for the guides and tensioners are 250 in lbs about 21 ft-lbs. the torx bolts for tensioner arms are 150in-lbs. do not use impact on tensioenr arm bolts this will cause head to crack. also you will need special tool 8515 to set up the chains there are three different chains. if you have questions e-mail me at hemipower1984@yahoo
