hi guys just was curious as well this works at launch and as your going along and you are going to punch it????

 

I gave this a shot and I didn't notice any difference other than my stereo also goes out, which now makes this a crappy trick.

 

Agreed, I did it, my Stereo goes out all of my dash lights reset but no performance changes... It does not affect the speedo, tach or the computer on the overhead, but it also does not affect the performance....

"crappy Trick" And possibly dangerous...

 

I don't know about that trick though I will have to try it but, I do know a good mod that helps with power is a nice 3 inch exhaust I had one on my 4.7 and am about to put a tru 3 inch on my 5.9 from headers back it gave me alot more power especially high speeds and it sounds Awesome I have had so many compliments it's nice to hear someone say that your truck sounds very nice but aside from that it gives you alot better gase milage I used Dynomax and though I may have a bias opinion since I had that I have never heard a Durango sound so nice. very mellow and low roar but when you put that peddle down others will know it and their heads will turn.
