my durango began shifting erratically yesterday, it was fine on the way to work then did not want to shift from 1st to second without letting off the gas then it would try to down shift right away, i was able to limp it home and after finding this board i changed the output speed sensor on the trans to day. The transmission does shift firm and does not feel like it is slipping but the problem, although improved after the new sensor, stills seems to be there. Witch sensor would you guys suggest changing now> TPS or the rear speed sensor on the axle, or do i suck it up and just do both ?
thanks in advance

tranny pan came down today for those interested, its seems i had actually lost second gear, the head on the tension bolt for the belt the shifts into second actually fell out and into the pan, anyone seen this before? after dropping the valve body and reinserting the head im going to call it for lack of a technical term, and adjusting the bolt and the belt all looks normal, just got the valve body back in, should be back on the road tomorrow and we will see if its fixed
