Default true dual

I have a 2wd 2000 D and was wondering if anyone has ran true dual exhaust on there D. I was looking underneath and was wondering if the gas tank and spare tire where going to get in the way?

Only way to get duals would be to use a single muffler with single pipe in and dual outlet.

That is where you are wrong. Yes the fuel tank does prevent you from running any pipes down the drivers side of the vehicle, so you still have to run the pipes down the passenger side, but you can do true duals if you run a single Dual In/Dual Out muffler, or Two small mufflers right next to each other. GS Motorsports produces a true dual exhaust for the Durango, and both tips exit out of the stock location, they used to display their kit that exited out of either side of the trailer hitch, but I don't know what happened to it.

you mean I can't have one cat and one muffler per header? just bend the driver side around the tank. Doesn't the exhaust with the X cross in the pipes actually make it the same as single exhaust with two tips I'm probly wrong.

they x pipe or any other means of connecting the exaust from each side together is to ballence out the pressure due to not having equil length runners on headers.

Yeah I was wrong about the GSM kit, but the way I did it was that I used the stock 3 inch pipe coming from the catalytic converter and had a SI / DO Dynomax Ultraflo muffler installed to 2- 3 1/2 inch stanless tips out the back rear bumper, and yes I too have the spare tire and tow package still.
