Stick with what the OEM uses, Champion plugs. I am using Champion Iridium Truck plugs and they are the hottest burning clean plugs I have come across. Expensive but they burn clean and my engine idles much smoother with these plugs. Plugs supposed to last 100k miles.

The D's don't like many plugs out there. As Ken stated stick with the champions.

Did you change the wires as well? I so, which one did you use? I'm thinking of doing that when the weather gets nicer.

On 5.9s = Autolite 3923s or STOCK Champions. Nothing hotter than OEM or your asking for pinging.

On 4.7s = NGKs or STOCK Champions. You can go down one range.

Never Bosch Platinums.

I just put in plugs, stock Champions. They seem to be just fine. Wanted to replace the rotor and wires, but I can't get to the rotor, it's way in the back of the engine compartment, seems to be a huge pain in the @$$ to get to. Any ideas? Also, what wires should I get?

Take the air hat off and you should have no problem. Otherwise it looks like it would be a PITA I'm gonna be changing mine soon. Hopefully I can dupe the wife into thinking the MSD ignition components will be what I need at the price they run...

LOL. That didn't ever occur to me. When I have the time/money I'll have to do that. Just put new rubber on all around, cost me $520.
