Just go with mobil 10-90 full synthetic and you'll be good to go and it's cheaper than the stealers oil which isn't even synthetic.

10-90 ??????

Rear Diffs are spec at 75W-90. I agree with getting the Mobil1 version of 75W-90. It is expensive and it smells bad, but it is good stuff. If you are a heavy duty hauler, there is 75W-145. Also for those drinking the coolaid, Amsoil released a 75W-110 designed to fill the gap between the standard spec and the heavy duty stuff.

FWIW, I run 75W-90 Mobil1 on both Diffs. Also, I added (maybe didn't need to but wanted to be safe) the Mopar Limited Slip Additive for my LSD in the rear (stock oil needs it regardless, Mobil1 is supposed to be okay without it). It's a small bottle for $9 at the dealer. If you need it and don't have it, you'll know right away!!

If you are cleaning out the rear, my I recommend that is a great time to switch the diff cover to a chrome version. I got mine (cheap!) and an (not so cheap) Spider cover both at the same place... Purple Cranium here: http://purplecranium.com/wsm/c-49_sp...ck_guards.html

WHOOPS! Thanks indy I was thinking motor oil and diff oil at the same time. [&:]

Another thing 20durango00 It is best to pull the cover so that you can see whether or not you are getting regular or excessive wear on the gears.
