My Hubby is buying a 79 Chevy El Camino because he wants to use the 22" Rims and Wheels on it for his 2003 Durango. THey are supposed to be universal Rims so he thinks they will fit. The Durango has 6 lugs and the El Camino has 5 lugs. Can anyone please tell me if these are compatable? We have been told that there is an adapter but is it really worth it? Thanks for any help.

 

You answered your own question. You can get an adapter, but they will move your wheel out at least an inch and a half. Buying a car for the wheels is like buying a cow farm for the milk.
