2000 sport 5.2 to 5.9 swap. (ecu question)
Why can't you just have your OEM PCM flashed by B&G to the perameters of the newer 5.9L?
I would call them. They should be able to take care of you. Sell the R/T PCM because it won't work. There wasn't that much difference in the perameters between the 5.9L and the 5.2L PCM.Besides itall ready has your VIN# in it. The flash should take care of you and they will mail it back to you overnight.

the dealer won't do anything but reprogram an ecu for original vin number. they won't change the "Y" to a "Z" for the different engine. i tried.
even the local and reputable performance shop dodged my question about the ecu by giving me a list of 1,000 things to check mechanically before i could safely assume what i already know. [:@]
i'll be sure to post here as soon as i figure it all out. the computer is actually finally giving me problems. the CEL says the o2 sensor is reading lean. duh! but i haven't been able to find a stock ecu from a 2000 5.9 dodge yet.
