Strut Question...
The front right strut on my intrepid has a loose strut rod. I was told the strut mount would have to be replaced, but in my search for parts i came across a strut rod bushing, which I believe is the reason the strut rod is loose. Should I still replace the entire mount anyway, even if only the bushing is bad, or can I get away with just replacing the bushing? Also, if anyone has an exploded view or schematic of the top of the strut, it would be greatly appreciated...

I already tossed the bushings when I pulled the cradle. how soon can you get to Plover to get the parts? have any use for the struts and springs? the struts have less than 20k miles. they were put in the car @85k 5 years ago then 3 years ago, ball joints/control arms were put in around the same time. the car was totaled. I pulled the motor and trans (cradle and all)

$40 for both struts with springs, strut bearings, greaseable sway bar links (the swaybar links run $25 each) . you don't need to align intrepids after installing struts. there is no camber adjustment. 3- 13mm nuts strut bearing to tower, 2- 21mm bolts strut to steering knuckle, 10mm bolts for brake hose/abs sensor, 18mm for the sway bar links, 19mm for the lug nuts.

don't have any other steering parts. I won't be back until late saturday or sunday. going to Oshkosh on Friday to put a motor in my dad's truck. I know how hard it is to come up with $40 especially when owning a Chrysler product. I could take some kind of trade.
