96 Intrepid 3.5L
Hey all,
Here's a quick rundown....my girlfriend and i bought a 96 intrepid for $800. All it needed was a new rack and pinion and she was good to go! So i went ahead and did it myself as opposed to spending 850 to have someone do it for me. now that all the routine stuff is taken care of on it like brakes, rotors, drive belts (timing belt coming next weekend) i had a great idea. Dual exhaust!! When i suggested it to her, she blatantly told me "no" which in my book, means i pretty much have to now.
So, the plan is to do it while she is out of town in 3 weeks. So my question to all of you is this: When doing this, would it make more sense to run the duals AFTER the cat, so i dont need 2? or would there be a better, louder effect if i ran the exhaust BEFORE the cat, and added another one to the exhaust system?
