I was driving 35mph and went over some railroad tracks, after going over the tracks it felt like the front right (passenger side) wheel was going to wobble off. Slowed down to pull over, as I slowed it stopped wobbling, kept going no more problems, went to appointment, drove home still no more problems. My husband says this has happened to him twice after going over a bump. Any idea what is causing this? it is a 1997 four door intrepid. Thanks.

 

Have you checked the lug nuts on the wheel?
They may not be sitting properly and the railroad tracks just aggravated the balance of the wheel enough to make it wobble.
