Hey, I have 2 93 intrepids which are both identical except for color and have the 3.3L motor. My red car will only drive maybe a few KM and will die and then maybe restart once before it dies altogether and i have to pull it over. When left for a couple hours it will restart and go a few more kms. I was told this was a bad computer so i replaced it which fixed the problem for a short while until it went bad again. I parked hsi car and drove my green one for a while and now after there being a slight hesitation when going into gears it cavved altogther yesterday. It is making a high pitched whinning noise from the transaxle while idling, which almost goes away after sitting for a while running. It doesnt want to go into gears unless you wait a while and even then it barely drives. I wondering if any of you guys would know what is wrong with the trans and alos if it is possible to just switch the computer over from my green car to my red one which are both identical, all the same options etc. Im going crazy right now because i have 2 of these wonderful machines and cant drive either one. Any thoughts???????
