Default front brakes

I'm trying to put front brake pads on my '95 and have hit a wall. I've got the new pads on the caliper (rt. front) but can't get the thing to line back up in the cradle so the bolts will go in. Is there a tip or something I've overlooked? Anyone with experience, please reply. My truck is much easier!

Did you fully compress the piston 1st? also the bolt assys should slide freely, if not, lube them (the calipar, after it's installed, slinds on these, when the get brake dust, ect in them, they tend to hang up. After they are cleaned, you should be able to reposition them. Any brake cleaner will do.)
