Hey guys Im 15 and just got this car (98' plymouth neon) for my birthday shes got 165000 on her though but whatever its a first car. Just so you don't think I'm a spoiled brat. Just wanted to let you no its a fixer upper. Me and my dad just welded a new radiator support in with a POS flux welder off from ebay but it got the job done. But now I need to save up for a hood and a right fender and then we have to paint it because the problem with most neons is the chipping paint. But ya were going to sand her down and paint her white again. but the interior is really beautiful and it doesn't have a stock system in it and has a cd player installed in it because she is really loud . But I relize this is a dodge forum but plymouth being a brand of dodge I thought I would come here beause it looked the most professional. But I hope to enjoy my time in this forum and get as much knowledge as possible. But here is the pics let me know what you think.

So I take it you'll be doing the SRT-4 swap in the next day or so? Haha, i'm j/k. When you start reading all you can do though you will want to make your car go faster which takes any money you make from a job right away. Just before you get too into cosmetic repairs make sure the thing is running strong and not like leaking oil w/ the high miles. It would suck to invest money into a car that will crap out in a 1/2 year.

 

plymouth or dodge...doesnt matter...its more of just a neon forum here......
just remember....dont half *** anything....take the time and do it right and you wont regret it later down the road

4.then we had to install them (which we did)

but she runs fine

and were hoping to get her finish by may
so then I can use this car when i get my permit in the end of may
