turbo?
Hi, Thanks spud and everyone else for helping with this turbo project so far, but I have a couple of questions left. were do I put the vacuum line off the bov? and I have 2 vacuum nipples on my wastegate. does the bov go to one of them. thanks
you want your BOV hose right on the intake so it gets vaccum and boost pressure. the vaccum is what helps open it, the boost pressure helps keep it shut under boost.
i cant say ive ever messed with a WG actuator with 2 ports on it. you can T off your BOV hose to your boost controller then to the wastegate. vaccum helps shut the wastegate quickwhen you shift keeping the turbo spooled better in between. one of those ports on the wastegate is probly just the vent for the back side of the diaphram.

yeah ive never seen a wastegate with 2 ports....
what i did was this:
the boost gauge went straight to the manifold.....
the fuel pressure regulator was straight to the manifold....
then for the blow off valve andwastegate i spliced off of the brake booster vaccum line that connects to the front of the manifold....(the big one)
