Default 95 power steering leak

My 95 dumped all it's power steering fluid all over the belts and engine, fluid everywhere. Trouble is I can't find the leak, I refilled the steering fluid and it's working fine and isn't leaking?? Even with the steering turned hard to both locks there is no leak.

Any ideas

Maybe the cap was loose???

You sure it was P/S fluid?

No the cap was on and as it went low again, I have a feeling it’s the pump shaft seal. I picked up another pump at the wrecker yard from a car with low miles and put it on. I degreased and washed the area and so far so good. I’ll keep and eye on it for a few days.

Well, changing the pump fixed the problem. I think the shaft seal on the pump was the problem, it only leaked when hot. May have also been a sticky bypass valve building too much pressure and pushing it out the seal.
