Does anybody know if the back seat on a 2 door Neon folds down like on the 4 doors?

it might not....the fold down rear seat was an option
you could get the regular standard seat.......the 60/40 folding seat.....or one with a built in car seat

good luck fitting a mountain bike in a neon though[&:]
i used to have a hard enough time getting my 20" bmx bike in mine

So my car actually has an extra option? Wow, I thought it was the most plain jane Neon available. I figured I was probably going to have too take the pedals off. I believe there is only about 11 inches between the back dash and the seat when it is folded down.

the height causes a small problem....but the main problem is the opening in the back of the trunk and the angle you have to get the bike in there.....plus you will most likely have to take the front tire off, or loosen the handle bars so you can twist them....
too bad you car didnt have the lugage rack on it......i was thinking about putting 2 or 4 KC off road lights on mine

I havent tried to get it in yet but it could be more of a problem than I think. I dont think I have ever seen a Neon with a luggage rack before. That would be something my car could actually have since there isabsolutely nothing else. haha
Rear spoiler- no
DOHC- no
fog lights- no
cruise control- no
ABS- no
power windows and locks- no
cd player- no
engine- no... o wait, yes! I never tried to see what it could really do though for fear of it falling out while tryingtaking off from a red light really fast.

Actually I am hoping to get rid of it soon because before I bought it somebody wrecked it and did a crappy job of fixing it and its starting to rust up around the rear wheel now.

i got a question why would you want to take off from a red light? i usualy wait till it turns green. . . amber lights diffrent story and they do make bike racks that strap to the trunk that you can take on and off
