my check engine light came on so i checked and got codes 12, 21,43,21,51,21,55. and i read somewhere that codes wont repeat so am i right in concluding that i actually have a code 63? if so what exactly is code 63? i got this discription from my haynes manual->Controller cannot write to EEPROM. do i need a new pcm?? thanks.

You read wrong then. Codes will repeat themselves. The PCM will store and illuminate the light whenever it sees the error. It is possible to have 2 or 3 Code 43's for example.
I would get the correct "P" code to find out which O2 sensor is bad, more than likely the upstream. Inspect the wiring to both sensors first. Change your spark plugs with the stock Champions (should do this every 10,000 miles) and maybe your spark plug wires. Also inspect your coil pack for any cracks and check the leads on the coil pack.

whoever had my car before i got it decided to cut off the harness side downstream o2 sensor plug and wire directly. i replaced my upstream and went to replace the downstream only to find black tape, bare wires, and no plugs. so sometime 21 will come on the cel but until i can find a harness side plug to rewire back onto the harness i guess i cant put my new downstream o2 in....thanks for your reply das.
