Do you have a new head unit or are you just wondering about it? Because all that wiring should connect to a wiring harness on your stock stereo and if you purchase a new head unit then it might come with, but you can buy a new wiring harness that will plug right the new harness into the old. Or you can just splice all the wires with the new head unit's harness if you dont get a new one. Understand what Im trying to say?

You need to go to the store, walmart would have it, and buy a wiring harness for your car.. This way you wont have to cut into your current connector, and it is much easier this way since you will only have to match color to color!

Red face Wiring problem

I recently took apart and removed a few broken teeth from my pioneer head unit which fixed the jamming problem but now I have no visual display. Upon removal of the unit to check i noticed several wires had come loose from the harness plug housing, one of which was labeled "ILL" (assuming this is illumination)... Does this color guide apply to 2002 neon cd players, if not where could I find this information?

I second the splicing/wiring kit, or if you really wanna cut the factory plugs off, leave yourself enough slack so if you need to put them back on you have enough wire to splice it back to original
