Default Fender and Door Problem

I've got a '96 Highline and am having an issue with the driver side door. What is happening is that the door hits the fender when you try and open it. There is about 1/4" of interference beween the door and the fender. It's almost as if the door or fender has shifted position, but I don't know how that would have happened. The door worked fine early in the day and the car wasn't hit or anything.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I can't remove the door because it won't open wide enough to get at the hinge pins. Can't remove the fender because you can't get to two bolts behind the door.

what you can try to do is remove the rear part of the plastic inner fender shield.....you can then reach behind the fender and give it a little pull.....might be able to pop it out a little so that you ca nget the door open all the way....just a thought....its works for me many times

I'll try that and see how it goes. Thanks.
