Thanks for the info....i know...i know...this subject have been beat one tooo many times....but there are some unanswer guestions. For example...on the first link....i don't want a srt-4 turbo in my car...i want a 2.4 NONTURBO. ...For some reason they don't make srt-4 no more...on the second link....it is well inform but...some questions need to be address...like where in @#$% i can get a NEMO MOUNT AND BRACKET KIT??? and for $500 dollars???? Does it have gold anywere??? @#$% What about the EGR....where i can find any EGR off plates??? Did someone have any of those in your pockets??? I went to the auto parts and i ask ..they look at me like i was from the moon or something. As you can see...there is plenty of answer about the subject. UFFFF...well ...anybody have an answer on the famous NEMO BRACKET KIT and the EGR off plates? If i disconect the EGR, did i will have problems with emissions??? Anyway thanks people! hanks for your help...thats why this place is sooo great!!!!
EGR will give you problems with emissions. Second, Make your own block off kit. a Sheet of aluminum is all you need Cut it up to cover the holes. easy enough eh? As for the brackets. I can point you in the right direction if you Send me a PM.
MMMM... I just got my engine and I was looking at it...and thinking....I have a 98 dodge neon sport, with the dual overhead cam 2.0 engine. My engine comes with 150hp straight from factory. I was reading on horse power for the 2.4 for the stratus/breeze/cirrus NONTURBO, even on pt crruiser and they come with the same or less horse power than mine,,,sooo don't you think the 2.0 to a 2.4 swap on my car is not worth it??? C' mon enlight me on horse power. It is worth to do the swap from 2.0 DOHC to a 2.4 NONTURBO????

Did you happen to see the torque on the 2.4????
160 ft/lbs or torque compared to the 2.0's 132!!!! You can add SRT-4 internals to it easily also.
Hmmm, you tell me if it's worth it

Yes...I did....but 28ft/lbs doesn't make that much of a difference??? My neon sport have headers, intake, MSD ignition and a big right side pedal for my heavy right foot. The only problem that i have is that is automatic. jejejej. But now...seriously...did you think is worth the money and effort to change from 2.0 DOHC to 2.4 since the gaining are so small and if that difference is really that noticiable??? Man my head is spinning with questions and I haven't start drinking YET!
HAVE YOU DRIVEN A 2.0 DOHC LATELY???
HAVE YOU DRIVEN A 2.0 DOHC LATELY???
i read this,,,2.4l As of 2004, output is 152hp SAE (110kW) at 5200rpm with 165ft·lbf (224N·m) of torque at 4000rpm.!!!,,,,<------is this2.4l basically the same as the older ones,,or it doesnt matter which 2.4l to use,,cause im thinking of doing the swap,,,,and for the nemo motor supports, can these be fabricated or do we have to absolutly buy them,,thanks
