ok i wanna turbo my sohc motor... however i see all the manifolds for sale and they dont specify whether its for dohc or sohc...is there a difference? and if so would it be wise to just swap a dohc head onto my block i currently have? what type of fuel upgrades are required? any computer upgrades needed?????? any suggestions would be great... thanks every1

 

DOHC and SOHC turbo manifolds are different. You could swap the DOHC head onto your car and then use the SRT-4 turbo, as it bolts right up. You would need a bigger/better fuel pump (Walbro 255LPH should be fine) and mod it for a return fuel line along with bigger injectors.

I would strongly suggest you spend $25 and buy the book called Maximum Boost by Corky Bell.

 

I only way to tell is to look at the ports on the manifold. The DOHC port will be oval, and the SOHC will be a circle.
