You mean just take the leather off the ****? or take the **** off the selector??

Leather off ****: Good luck, I think its a solid mold....

**** off selector.. someone else here should be able to tell you better than I can, since I have never dealt with one myself...

Well.......What I want to do is take the slector off. U know the shift know that say 1,2,3,4,5 and R. My neon is a MTX. What I want to do is replace it with a different shift ****. I wanna put a carbon fiber one on there. Its kind like the ones that you can by at the part store. But more expensive!

Well, out of a pure assumption, I would think there is a clip on the front of the selector that you need to pull otu with a tiny screwdriver or something... thats would be my guess atleast

you want to know how to take the shift *** off?

depending on the next **** you get you won't be able to put it on
example: you want be able to put on a screw on ****, you'll have to find one that has little prong things you screw into the metal

to get the stock **** off pull the shift boot all the way down so you can get to the way bottom of the stock ****
on the left and right sides of it there are little plastic flaps
just pull each one off the prong thing holding them on while pulling hte **** off
it's pretty easy

Never say Never, a little modification to the shifter, and anything is possible.
