Default big problem

so....the yesterday morning my work car died on me....had to get it towed home...
once i got it home i found that it wasnt getting any fuel.....so i ripped out the metal tank and replaced it with a plastic one....now it gets plenty of fuel....but no spark sumtimes....

once and a while i can get it started....it will run for a few seconds just fine....then it will shut off out of nowhere.....then you can crank forever and it wont start....check it, no spark....turn off the ignition and wait about 30 seconds then it will start just fine....but after a while die again...check it...no spark..
i managed to get it running fine for a few minuites...turn it off and it would start right up so i thought i would attempt a short drive....pulled it out of the garage and it died....then it started with its problems again...

i replaced the coil, wires, pcm, cam sensor, crank sensor, throttle sensors, map sensor, and relays....and still no difference..

if i had full coverage and the car would drive then it would probally go for a short ride off a tall bridge[&:]
i need to get this thing goin right away since we have to drive my rango now and it only gets about 5mpg on a good day[:@]so the longer this thing is down, the more money its costing me

oh and it isnt throwing any codes either

Next step in my mind would be to start looking for a short in the wiring harness....

My brothers friend hada problem that sounded similar to this with his old neon he would shake the black fuse box in the engine bay then it would start and run fine for awhile. Like neonrt98 said its prolly a short. I think my brothers friend it turned out to be the red battery cable going to the fuse box. Ill have to stop and ask him tomarrow what it was.

when the car does run it has a lopey idel once and a while....kinda like a misfire....

i spent hours yesterday wiggeling wires and shaking junk....but nothing made a difference...i dont know if this could be a short back by the fuel pump or one in the engine bay...
i think today i might replace the engine harness and possibly the engine compartment harness too(though i would rather not)...hopefully i find sumthing..i need this car going asap

Possible short in the harness then or a bad sensor somewhere.
