97 neon sohc. just curious, I know there is an evap purge solonoid valve in the engine compartment but are there any other evap valves? anything by the gas tank? there is a hose that connects to the gas fill tube that goes down to the gas tank into a T. This his hose connects there and then one hose goes towards the engine the the canister and other hose rides over the top of the gas tank but I can't see where it goes. where does that hose connect to? just wondering because I got that p0443 code. I changed the solonoid purge valve in the engine compartment but that didn't fix it. I'm thinking there is another valve near the gas tank. pls help. thanks.

 

the other hose goes into the top of the tank.....works as a vent

as for the code, did you check the hoses/lines on the evap canister located on the passenger side behind the front bumper???
