tb backfires??

Default tb backfires??

ok imbackfiringthrough mythrottle body,i took my manifold off and cleaned it and i changed my tb from an mtx to a atx,the other day now this is happening and it smokes a bit now,,ireplaced theplugs and wires 2day but no change,,,,,any1 have any ideas,,Thanks

but could the tps sonsor make the car smoke???hopfully its a fairly simple fix,,and not valve seals or rings,,but its ever since i removed the intake and tb??thanks 4 ur info guy's

did you use the tps from the old tb? or the new one? You may want to change them out and see if there is a difference, if not, put your old tb back on with your old tbs and see if it still smokes. Good luck!

i used the tps from my old 1,but i could try swapping back to my old 1,,and ill let u know what happends,,,,,thanks

that would be oil, and should have absolutely nothing to do with the throttle body.

Ok, well, racer is right, blue is oil, but I find it strange that you swapped out the tb and then it started burning oil when it didnt before. Just swap back to the old tb and see if it still does it, it wouldnt hurt. Sometimes things happen and you just cant explain them...
