do any of u guys honestly have a fsat atx neon .. i want a zippy ride an im thinkin bout ditching my neon for a honda crx so .... iunno what do u think i should do .. im kinda fellin this b16 swap in2 a crx

 

what kind of times you looking for and how much are you going to spend

 

ide say either swap to mtx or find a mtx neon,,it all depends on what u wanna do,,the atx neon is a good highway car,,the 1.6 si v-tec isnt much of a power motor,,if u have a mtx SOHC neon u got it beat,,do what u feel,,and hope u make the right descision,,

 

woa take it easy peter the b16 is a very pwerful engine with just a few bolt ones not to mention the weight factor and ill get much better gas mileage in the little crx .... however crx`s are gettting difficult to find nowadays so i think im keeping the neon for now .. its gonna stay automatic and im not trying to go fast my friend is selling me a coilover kit for 50bux and another kid is selling montegi17s for 100 with tires so ill prolly just lower an thro some rims on it and sell it to buy a honda thanks anyways tho .. by the way neon would get smashed

 

I beat my friends CRX and I have a ATX neon lol he had a few mods as did I only a CAI and Muffler but hell if you like CRXs so much[sm=signs003.gif]

 

the b16 is a very powerful engine with just a few bolt ons,lol,,any motor has potential with bolt ons,and as 4 the weight,after the rust is done with it,u dont weigh nothing,,!!!lol,,,u will have better gas miliage with the crx,,but ya add bolt ons to the honda u will gain a lil more power,but leavethem stock and try racing a mtx neon and let me know how it goes,same thing for the neon add bolt ons and u will get the same effect,more power,,lmao,,its ur choice nobody here is telling u to keep ur neon anyway,u asked our opinion,,and were giving it 2 u,,i bet u havnt had much experiance with a neon or a honda,,and ya,the neon would probably get smashed,,if ur driving,,it would,,lol,,and if u bought a atx neon for power,,u should of saved ur money for that crx,,thats y alot of people go with the mtx swap,and my friend has a 98 atx and its a killer on the highway,,and by the way,,i have a few friends that r into honda and my old 95neon mtx,would smash them on a daily basis,lol,,,anyway,,good luck,with ur investment!!

wierd story... coming home last night I raced a CRX and I have a 97 neon atx with only a cai and soe other small mods and after we took off I didnt even see the crx..but good luck with that man!

 

Swap to an MTX and drop a second or two off your quarter mile time.

 

[&:]man if u knew how many acura & honda's i c loose their wheels,cause the ball joints or tie-rods snap,,i think they r the weekest built front ends ever built,,good on gas but cheap as #$@%,the exhaust is the size as a garden hose,,and the sound of the pepsi can exhaust is enough to drive some1 crazy,,anyway,,every1 here has their car preferences and thats y we r here,,on a neon forum,,their is honda clubs 2 u know,,!!!
