Default sensor location

anyone know where that sensor is on the tranny that tells the reverse lights to go on when you move the gear shifter? 97 neon sohc. is there any interference in getting to it? can it be reached from the top or underneath the car?

On the ATX the backup light switch is part of the park/neutral switch

thanks. found it. just curious, is it possible that the transmission is clogged at that port where the switch goes in so there isn't any fluid pushing on the switch? could that port get clogged?
