ok so ive been having some problems with my work car since ive gotten it.....
randomly when driving the car will start jerking really bad.....then if you let off the gas for about 5 seconds, the problem goes away.......for a while....it does this all the time....hot or cold....but only in 5th gear
this car jerks really really bad....i actually broke the passenger motor mount bolt in half....part of it was still in the mount plate.....so i had to replace all that too[:@]
and

the car dies almost every time i put it in neutral.......it has a little bit of a rough idle...other wise it seems to run ok......if the car doesnt die, then it seems to idle at about 400 rpms, then sumtimes it catches itself and idles like it should...

im just getting really tired of this car and ive replaced almost everything on it.....luckily i only have to drive it for a few more weeks til i can find out if i can get another r/t that ive been keeping my eye on....

any ideas

 

i dont have any ideas but thats the sam exact problem i am having with my r/t. f***in sux. does urs lunge like that wen excelerating too?

 

yeah...sumtimes....it gets really bad when taking off between 1st and 2nd.....i cant count how many times ive bashed my head off the steering wheel in the past few weeks

 

It sounds like the tps to me or a broken wire going to it.

 

its not the tps...
i have replaced:
upstream 02 sensor, both of the sensors on the throttle body, map sensor, coil pack, plugs, plug wires, cam sensor, crank sensor, all relays, engine wire harness, pcm, and fuel pump with no changes...it runs exactly the same
my next step is gonna be to swap out the cat. and see if it does anything

 

any ideas???? anyone???

 

Cat would probably be my next choice. Does it rattle or anything?

 

no rattle, but there has been an exhaust leak since i got it right after the cat....
i was planning on changing the cat when i get the momentum to work on a car other then the r/t.....then, if that doesnt work, im gonna throw a different motor in the car and see what that brings

 

well if u do end up findin a solution plz tell me wat u did because its killin me tryin to find it

 

i think im gonna change the cat in a couple days....hopefully thats it[&:]
