crank sensor is located on the back of the motor right above the oil filter
there is no reason for a crankshaft sensor to be in the trans....it would only be located on the block by the crankshaft

So if I was looking in the bay, is it under the power steering resevior? Clipped to a metal support between the block and the firewall?

Can you not see the picture provided? It's not difficult to find. Have a look above the filter.

Yeah, I saw the diagram. I must be retarded because I cannot locate it or the oil filter. I have looked on the back of the block. I will go look again right now. I'm sorry guys, thanks for the help, as always.

You have to jack up the car (put it on jackstands) and they get under the vehicle and look up.
