Did you check or replace the PCV valve?

A stuck PCV valve can cause oil to be pushed/pulled into, the intake and burnt. For the price $5-$10 it’s certainly worth a try. Also, make sure the PCV connecting hoses are in clean and in good condition. I had this happen on my 95 and had to replace the PCV hose as the inner surface was rotted and crumbling and kept clogging the PCV valve. It made a difference from 3000 mile oil change without having to add oil to being down to the add mark every week or so.

If the PCV is stuck open oil can be sucked into the intake (by the engine vacuum) . If it’s stuck shut it causes pressure in the crankcase that can force oil past the rings.
