and to answer the original question i seen one on a car and i didnt care for the looks of it but to each his own.

 

if looks are what you wanturethane is great,but its heavyplus its an add on to the already heavy bumper

so habitat, is that just lawn and garden edging riveted or screwed to the bottom of the stock bumper? if thats all it is i think i may hafta do that....

 

yep! its just lawn and garden edging from lowes. I had to cut the bottom piece off that goes into the ground (actually the top of thelip bolted to the bumper)
I used stainless bolts and washers.If i had other pictures i would post them. But heres some from someone elses ride

 

i think i may just have to try that. cuz that is pretty sweet looking for being so cheap.

 

for body kits there is a new material called flex fiber....its not as stiff as fiberglass but its close to as strong as urathane......heres the site....take a look at the vid of the guy standing on the front bumper......
