I seen on the duplicolor website, they have a new paint called the paint shop its all pre mixed and ready to spray. You can get the primer color, and the clear for 19.95 a quart. I was wondering how much paint it would take to paint my 95 4 door neon? Also has anyone heard of, or used this duplicolor paint shop paint? Thanks for any info.

 

do u know how to paint? never used it.....but i mixed my own cherry red and love it on the neon.....i would say mix ur own....

hes waiting on sum1 to use it and see if it works ... id be down but i just had my neon painted white in march and its real good looking so im not trying to mess tht up

 

honestly i would only put a real paint job on it if you want it to be a nice car for a longer time
all of the cheaper paint doesnt have the UV protection and they fade quick and rust comes through.
if its just a driver car that your wanting to make it look a little better give it a shot.

 

yeah who knows why the paint flakes off some of the neons anyways i hate it thats why i had to strip my car as you can see in my sig. but i dont know i kinda like the primer look needs a bit of touching up though

 

It had to do with the "new world paint" that they were using. Environmentally safe, but crappy.

 

sounds like the paint that already came with the Neon.

 

I was only the light color paint that flaked.
