hmmmm i realy would like to have one of them... but i still need to know what gear oil weight to run in a neon im a running 75/95 in it right now and it is still going strong...

 

i always used 80/90

 

Redline makes a manual tranny oil that works well.

 

with the atx ecu you should max out around 4500. not sure why you wouldnt. you hook up the neutral safety switch and reverse lights? the lights on the dash are probably from you messing around with wires. we did my swap in 1 night, but forgot a ground. had it fixed in the morning and took off.

 

ya i got the new pcm for 40$$$ at a local junk yard... dont know how to tell if it was out of a rt or not.... but my rev limiter was no where near 4500^^^^ o the door light was a bad sencer in the back door and the e-brake light was a pinched wire... so its all good now

Its so much more fun!!! and i killed a new scion tc last night.... anyone that is thinking about doing it go for it its the best mod to my neon yet...

 

I cant wait to do it. I just have to wait till I have the money to buy a few small parts...ie TOB, Booger Bushings and waiting to get my Maddog sts. Other than that I get all the cables and brackets and my 3.55 tranny this coming up weekend and then I am gonna do the swap. My mom still thinks that its a bad idea but once its done and everything Im gonna let her drive it..cause mtx's are all she drives and thats when Im gonna say..I told ya I could do it. I just hope it doesnt take that long. I am pretty sure I know exactly what Im gonna be doing because I have studied it enough. So hopefully it doesnt take more than 3 or 4 days.

 

i have to do my tranny swap within the next week or so...that way i can sell this piece of junk
